Hotel Review: Magnolia Hotel St. Louis

Downtown St. Louis is home to numerous colleges, government buildings, the Mississippi riverfront, and, of course, the Gateway Arch. Outside of the riverfront and arch area, parts of downtown become like a ghost town, with streets empty and a sparse number of cars on the roads. But one of the most gorgeous and historical spots in the downtown area is the Magnolia Hotel St. Louis. La Fonda on the Plaza is a hotel that I’m really fond-a. Okay, I just couldn’t resist throwing in that corny line. But the sentiment holds true. Hotel Review: Hampton Inn & Suites Temecula

I am an accommodations snob. There, I said it. I always try to book great accommodations at a reasonable rate. So when I learned that I was staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Temecula, courtesy of Visit Temecula Valley, for a wine-tasting excursion with my dad for Father’s Day, I was hopeful—yet admittedly, a bit nervous—about whether the property would meet my typically high expectations.

It far exceeded them.
